I think tristan must have been feeding himself.

Or his father had been hitting the bottle a little early in the morning.

Regardless, our little tyke likes to feed himself. and is quite
proficient at geeting little chunks of food to his mouth.

He does have a system of trying food with his tongue outside of his
mouth. Easier to spit out if it does not meet his standards. But as
he loves to grab fist fuls of cat food, I'm not sure where his
standards are.
