I've been taking sebastien to swim lessons. the swim team was practising before our lesson. after we left sebastien kept going on about a swimming hat. he needed new googles. so he got both on monday. after deciding that he wanted to wear underwear to school. we've been in under wear all week. a few accidents but the whole week has been easier than i had imagined. still working on poo-poo on the potty. but the pee pee is going really well.

Sebstien with his lego station on wheels that he built all by himself. and carefully put away from tristan's reach for three nights.  i was impressed on all fronts.


i was a horrible mean mother and took sebastien's pacifier away on his third birthday.  nights have been TOUGH while we have been figuring out how to sleep without 'ba'. HORRIBLE. should have pulled it long ago. all the presents and rewards for peeing in the potty should be making up for it.  it is amazing how quickly he is growing up. he is not a little boy anymore. our friends and neighbors brought him a birthday present on friday. bingo. there is a dvd that calls the numbers. he LOVES it. and surprising to his parents, follows the game quite well. we have had to play every night before bed. he might like it because he wins....



 tristan's latest thing is sticking out his fat little tongue. hard to nurse that way. but it is a nicer way of telling his mother he is done than biting.... seven months big. still army crawling. revving up to crawl on hands and knees, but not there yet. also can't sit himself up from lying down. which means his bed is still high up. thankfully for our backs.  tristan has been sleepign from ten till six on the doctors orders for the last two weeks. i'm greedy. i want more sleep.
