baby's got Teeth
(well, tooth) We have been tracking the teething front these past few weeks. Fingers explore sebi's mouth on an almost daily basis in the search for the elusive first tooth. We have followed the gums getting harder. The sighting of a cyst, and TODAY..... the first touch of a hard jagged edge!!!! Can't quite confirm this sensory observation with a visual (Mihai couldn't get Sebi to laugh long enough while upside down for me to have a really good look), but we are sure we have dentine (or whatever the fancy word for tooth is).
we know we have been remiss in our posting of pictures (let's face it, no one really cares what we have to say. As I repeated MANY times today to the college student working in our lab "A picture is worth a thousand words, remove the word slide with no pictures"). So here are two very recent pictures.
The first Mihai took last wednesday (before turkey day). The hat was made by someone in daycare. Rather cute i must say. Note the spelling. We had a very nice thanskgiving in the dc area. we meet up with friends at Amy's house for a .... 26 pound free range turkey! (I imagine the turkey was not ranging far). but he was delicious. ALong with the rib roast, three casseroles, mashed potatoes with gravy, and a few other side dishes. Not to forget the great corn bread! And then five other desserts to follow (they are a blur).

(hmmm. guess i need to resize smaller than 800. we are now using picasa on our computer, a great goggle product that will do the resizing for you).
the next picture is from the friday after turkey day. we were getting ready for a leisurely breakfast at home when our house cleaners (five of them!) showed up. In they came and out we went for a bagel breakfast.... not a bad trade i have to say. (although it did involve our stashing dirty dishes in the oven and mihai's work room. if we had left them out they would have done them, and that is not what i hired cleaners to do.)

Isn't he a big little boy?!
