I'm in Love
With my house cleaning service! It was a rocky start, I have to admit. They showed up at my door with a vaccum cleaner three hours later than promised. (Although they did call to say they would be late, 'Traffic'). I was tempted to call the whole thing off. I AM SO GLAD I DIDN"T!
Three women showed up and went to work. Less than two hours later my house is spotless inside. I can actualy see out the bedroom windows. The wooden floors have been mopped (probably never happened in their lifetime). The stereo has been cleaned! I walked into the kitchen to see them CLEANING OUT THE FRIDGE!!!! The few dishes left by the side of the sink were done (Mihai had intended to do them later). They even scrubbed and lined the pans under the burner. My toaster oven and microwave are clean. My couches (cushions included) were vacuumed! and to top it all off, Sebastiens unmatched socks were stacked, from biggest to littlest!!!!
I am not sure what to do with all these bright and shiny surfaces. Admittedly Sebi sneezed a few times from all the cleaning products in the air (he probably had never smelled them before). Debby recommended this cleaning service to us. And I recommend it to anyone else who wants to hear about it, Sandra's Cleaning. (Email me for the contact information). Did I mention they took out the rubbish?! I understand they will change bed linens. Now if only they cooked dinner.... (is that being a little greedy). Oh, and i believe all the alcohol is still in the cabinet. Still no sign of the duck that featured in earlier posts. If it were in house, i think they would have found it. so much for organic toys.
On a slightly different note: Sebastien managed to pull himself up to standing today in his crib! (In case you are wondering, he was supposed to be sleeping). When he eventually fell i asleep he was in a slumped over sitting position. And they tell you not to disturb a sleeping baby, so.... we left him like that. I don't have a picture of that, but i have one of his standing.

I LOVE MY CLEANERS! (and my baby).
I have to say this going back to work thing has worked out rather well so far. Mihai pulls his own weight in baby care. I get to spend some time with (mostly) sensible and inteligent adults and time with my baby. AND WE GET HOUSE CLEANERS, so we don't have to spend some of the precious time with have with Sebastien cleaning the house.

Who are you kidding? You barely cleaned the house to begin with! But they are awesome aren't they? Wish mine was as effective as yours sounds...
