I love my little baby.  But I have to admit, it is really hard to find the baby that I love underneath the mess that becomes my baby while he is eating....  I am a bit fastidious.  Everything has a proper place.  ANd I have a REALLY hard time excepting that the face, hair, and even ears are the proper place for food.  Sticky food should not be on hands, and really I would be much happier if the food stayed off the table. Alas. When feeding Sebastien I have to take a deep breath and try REALLY hard not to wipe his face after every bite, he really hates it.  The mess is so bad afterwards that i have to take him to the sink to wipe his hands (the bathroom sink, not the kitchen sink).  ANd while you could say it is my fault, i should not spread the food all over his face. I promise you it is not me (at least not much of it). For some reason Sebi likes to stick his fingers in his mouth after I deliver the spoonful of food. And he likes to grab the spoon as it goes to his mouth, which means there is even more food on his hands. ANd then if i don't keep the food coming at a quick clip, he pounds his fists in frustration. And that is how food ends up everywhere.



On that note, we have also found ourselves a house cleaner. The crew comes this weekend to do the big clean (Let's see how it matches up to the way my mother-in-law cleaned the house). And then if we are happy (how can we not be, we won't be cleaning our house), we will have them come every other week.
