We thought one year birthday parties were insane and now we're celebrating the 1 week. The miracles of parenthood.  Had our first off-hours call to the pediatrician.  Belly button was oozing some nasty stuff and bleeding a bit.  Sounds like that's what they do, till they fall off.  How gross.  Also had several pee-out-of-diaper incidents, courtesy of mommy's conviction that the diapers are too little.  In Mihai's hands they aren't.

P.S.  The first of the volvo boats are expected to hit Baltimore late Monday or early Tuesday.  If you are near the bay around that time keep an eye out for them and take a picture.
